OverviewUnder the direction of the Site Manager, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for leadership, oversight, and improvement of all clinical operations and clinical staff throughout the assigned site. These functions include training, mentoring, disciplining and reviewing clinical staff, coordination of patient care and flow, assessment and integration of EMR functionality into all office clinical practices, medical supply material management, supervision of patient medical contact and communication, telephone triage, medical information management, provider clinical support, and office based diagnostic testing. Performs the duties of a clinical staff member and serves as a role model and resource person for staff at the site wherever training and licensing permit and at other sites on an as needed basis. This position acts as a liaison between the site-based clinical staff, the Site Manager and the Medical Director/Physicians of the site for office wide communication and coordination of new clinical initiatives and clinical issue resolution.
- Basic computer knowledge; ability to toggle between more than one screen. Excellent customer service skills. Strong communication, interpersonal and team skills. Ability to exercise judgment in dealing with sensitive, confidential information. Detail-oriented with the ability to enter information accurately on paper and into the system. Ability to handle a high volume of calls and work in a fast-paced environment=
- A minimum of 3 years clinical experience in physician office setting. Previous management experience required preferably in a physician practice setting.
