This is a full-time, hybrid position that requires routine, onsite presence at our North Shore Physicians Group corporate headquarters and practices. We have sites in the following towns/cities:
General Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated thinker who is interested in working with the Mass General Brigham, MGB Digital Health ECare (DHeC) and their guiding principles of “one patient, one record, one team, one MGB statement” the EMR enables a seamless flow of clinical and administrative information about a patient anywhere within MGB, and ultimately improves the quality and safety of care for our patients.
Reporting to the Business Support Manager, the Epic Trainer is responsible for facilitating Epic end user classroom training courses for an application designed by a DHeC certified Instructional Designer. Epic Trainers also support the set up and takedown of classroom training space, the distribution of training materials and supplies, and classroom quality control. This includes the administration of proficiency assessments and class evaluations at the end of each session and sharing ideas to improve the effectiveness of the training with the course Instructional Designer and Business Support Team.
The Epic Trainer will support the development of future state workflows, standard work, policies and procedures, training coordination, conversion needs, cutover planning, and go-live support. In addition, the Epic Trainer will work closely with the Business Support Director and Project Manager and Operational Leads to facilitate completion of entity program tasks such as test scripts review and signoff, analysis of go-live critical reports, super user identification, end user testing coordination, and other project tasks as needed.
Epic credentialing will be available within 6 months of hire where the trainer will be responsible in learning and teaching Epic Ambulatory, Cadence and/or Radiant training along with Dragon Medical One (DMO) for clinicians as assigned.
