General Overview

We are seeking a part-time, 24-hour Medical Assistant Staff Educator to support our North Shore Physician Group sites. The preferred schedule would be 4, 6-hour shifts per week, but we can be flexible based on new hire preference.

General Overview

Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services and Resource Manager, the Educator:

  • Provides clinical education programs and at-the-elbow support for MA’s and PSR’s
  • Oversees and improves clinical education and clinical orientation for medical assistants within NSPG
  • Works in collaboration with site-based practice management
  • Serves as a role model for staff and a clinical resource for practice managers
  • Acts as a liaison between the practice sites and administration for NSPG-wide and MGB-wide communication and coordination of new clinical initiatives and clinical issue resolution

Qualifications

Experience

· Required: A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.

· Preferred: Previous management experience preferred. Experience and management in a physician practice setting highly desirable.

Education/Degree

· Required: Completion of a medical assisting or nursing degree

Licensure, Certifications, or Registration

· Required: Medical Assistant Certificate

· Preferred: National Medical Assistant Certification
