Under the administrative directionof the Ultrasound Operations Manager and the Medical Director ofGeneral Ultrasound, the sonographer performs ultrasound procedures at a levelof competence not requiring constant supervision to technicaldetail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas, procedures andstudents as assigned.

This positionrequires effective communication skills and the ability to build rapportwith others. Verbal and organizational skills are required towork in an efficient, orderly fashion independently.
Prefer a minimum of one year ofexperience as a sonographer.
Required satisfactory completion offormal Ultrasound Training program.
Registration or registrationeligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers(ARDMS)(RDMS) in ABD and OB/GYN.
Applicants must be certified within12 months of hire or equivalent.
